Dragonite
Fantasy Short Story
Before war broke out among the countries within the Democratic Republic of Quake, the humans and the shape-shifting beasts— the Dragonites— used to be equals. It must have been a wonderful time to be alive— to be a human. The legends say the forests were abundant then— teeming with flora and fauna. I wish I could’ve known what that was like. Natural forests are almost obsolete now— a wondrous sight for us and a sacred treasure.
War is all I’ve ever known. Nobody alive knows first hand what it was like to not have constant war, suffering, and violence. What it’s like to not have death constantly nipping at our heels.
Cain's Curse

A millennia ago, the leaders— Satan and God— from the two realms— Demon and Archangel— came together and created three laws they decreed couldn’t be changed for the rest of eternity. They called them the Three Laws of Cain....
It was said they were created as a means to protect humanity from the ruthless power of Demons and the radiance of Archangels.
But if our radiance was so brilliant then why did our realm feel so cold?

I, however, usually spend my time reading and doing productive stuff-- whatever that is-- just not being bored. Mostly watching anime, writing, or traveling somewhere (probably foreign).
